For three months we have journeyed with Peter Capaldi on his first series as the Doctor, and it was a hell of a ride. We battled clockwork droids, Daleks, and Cybermen. Faced down new villains like the Skovox Blitzer and the poorly named Boneless. Found misunderstood monsters like the Teller and the Mummy. We explored complex human struggles like shared nightmares and the horrifying world of dating. And now it is time to take a look back at our journey and see how far we’ve come.
This week we view series 8 as a whole and look at the work that Moffat and his team put into telling a cohesive story and whether or not they lived up to all the promises that he spent the whole summer throwing in our faces. Join us as we travel once more into darkness and ask the tough questions.
