What Do You Drive?

Post by Stephen » Fri Jun 27, 2014 5:06 am

Always curious to get to know my fellow geeks, so curious what people drive? I have a 2003 Element and a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. I know nothing glamorous, but I love the Element for hauling random not too big items..
had things from Couches to Roto tillers.

With that said I love how the Cruze handles. Sure it's still a fairly family functional car but GM did a good job when they made it, happy with the drivability and function for the price. Plus the mileage is decent.

So chime in, what do you drive?

I drive a 2005 Hyundai Sonata and a 2014 Hyundai Santa fe. The sonata is a decent car that gets me to work and is very dependable. While the Santa fe is a great family vehicle.

On a side not the Santa fe is the first vehicle that I have ever owned that does not have an ash tray but has 2 usb ports. Yes i know, I'm easily impressed.

I love my USB port on my cruze too. Was a big deal when I got it. How long you been a Hyundai driver? I think my next car may be one.

I purchased the sonata in 2006, I think. And just purchased the Santa fe last month. Compared to the Chevy, Kia, and whatever else we test drove the hyundai just ran smoother and quieter. I don't know if there is a price difference but just as a FYI the Kia is extremely similar in design to the hyundai of similar models.

I have a 2015 Subaru Outback. Should be good in the snow which is big for me since I live in the Appalachian Mountains.

I have a 2012 Hyundai Tucson. Right now, it has a lovely crack stretching halfway across the windshield.

2011 VW cc. Wrote my 2004 Jetta off a couple years ago, but that thing was a tank. Drove it from BC to California several times, across the continent (BC to PA and back), and even up to the Northwest Territories once. Loved that car.
Formerly Amberite, but probably not Nellie or Nelson. I'd probably answer to either tho.
