I get a LOT of these, FAX machines not plugged in

old men who forget they left floppy disks in the drive and the PC won't boot....it's a charmed life sometimes :)

I need to rummage through my facebook and find some of the older gems....the weather of the last month kinda kept the stupid in check for a while......

Ah but spring is in the air. The crazies will be coming out...

Have you ever gone to a job and been horrified by how ancient the equipment is?

Wow, this is crazy -- but sounds like easy money lol

As for Windows 3.1... whats wrong with that? All of my skype rigs are 3.1.... at least that's how I feel since they are Windows 7 :P

Windows 7 is amazing :)

I have one customer with win 98...no...wait....95 and a zip drive he wanted to transfer data from, I had to find a machine with an lpt port, thank God I hoarded old win xp machines for my older customers who hate change.....

I'd call it "entertaining money" for sure, and you'd better love doing it or it will eat you up, my mindset negates that part with ease :)

That's great. I remember zip drives, those were such a thing lol. Did he have the Plus pack for 95?

LOL....dear God...I'll have to look when I go back again!

Windows 95.... labelled the greatest paid beta test of all time.......

I remember wayyyy back the first IT company I was working for, it was like 97, we were setting up the library computers in a HS, some kid figured out the "it is now safe to shut down your computer" thing was just a bit map....he found the file and reworded it to " <insert name of ex here> loves to <insert sexual act here? " ....juvenile....but I gotta admit....damned funny :D

Hahahaha that's funny. I remember finding the start up logo (it may have been 98) and playing with that. It was fun!
