Tron Legacy

Post by Stephen » Mon Aug 25, 2014 12:21 pm

I just watched it again the other day and I can't understand what people's issue is w the movie. I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great way to bring the franchise to the present yet not reboot it.

Perhaps it's just my love for Olivia Wilde that has me scratching my head wondering what people don't like, but I just thought it was a fun movie to watch.

I've gone on the record before as saying that I love it. It's Paradise Lost with lightcycles and Daft Punk.

Personally, I've never seen the appeal of Tron. Legacy just solidified that for me. I found it incredibly boring.

It's been a year or so since I've watched it so I should watch it again -- but the Olivia Wilde factor helps in my books too :P

I enjoyed this one a good deal. Hopefully they still make the 3rd one.

It was an incredible movie to me. I must watch it again to think of why it hits me so hard in a good way while others could care less about it.

So is it bad that I've never seen Tron but still fell in love w Legacy?

Nope. The original Tron is almost a good history lesson in both early computing, early movie CGI and gaming. If you view it like that its fun. If not its just horribly out of date. I'd think that for a tech guy like you Trion and Wargames would be mandatory viewing though.
