The year 1994 was the year we learned that life is like a box of chocolates, found out what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in France and discovered what the phrase "Hakuna Matata" means. But the one thing no one saw coming that year was a film called The Shawshank Redemption. In fact, almost no one saw it at all during its first theatrical release. It wasn't until the film - directed by Frank Darabont from a novella by Stephen King - found a second life on home video and cable that it would become universally acclaimed as one of the best films of all time. This is the story of two convicts serving life sentences whose friendship gets them through the hardships of life on the inside. But does the film earn its praise or does it deserve two months in the hole? Eric, Kent and Lobster do a stint behind bars to find out.
