Yeah, same here, I'm glad I got to what turned out to be the last big meetup in Dallas, bunch of really good and fun people and I enjoyed all the discussions, it's still a shame I got there at the very end....and twitter....ack......its enough to keep up my hockey stuff and work stories on facebook

I wish I would have gotten to the meetup. I saved hard but life threw wrenches. I try and keep friends but it's rough.

Yea, there has been an unofficial event that has been done. Wing and a few others have planned "Geekation" each year which has featured a meet up of several GonnaGeekers. People seem to have fun, but alas I have never been. Currently GonnaGeek isn't in a position to do any official meetup (there are both financial and legal obstacles that currently we can't address). However, I still enjoy hearing about Geekation each year and the fun that geeks get to have together.

hrrrmmm, maybe next year.....the Blackhawks are one of the remaining 11 cities I have left I need to visit.....I'm a terrible pod cast listener by my own admission I like reading stuff over listening....well until my XM player in the car gets Wi-Fi and I can download stuff......

I actually miss the Cine-magic channel a LOT, it's internet-only now, but I loved the movie soundtracks in the car.....
