Salty's the name.
Coming to you from the broken, busted Emerald Isle of Ireland.
I started my sci-fi adventures watching old re-runs of Star Trek or Buck Rogers with Buster Crabb.
Irish Tv was Very limited in the 70s.
Since then, I have collected Most of the Star Trek Franchise, Except Voyager (can't stand it)
I also have other complete collections of B5, BSG (1978), Red Dwarf, Stargate series, Helix and others.
Started out listening to "the Legends" Podcast on Gonnageek but I also like Stargate Pioneers podcast on "Defiance".
Things look very interesting here and I hope to make some new friends.
Cheers!
Ahoy there, Mateys.

Welcome to the site! First off let me say your name is awesome- kudos. Secondly glad you're enjoying some of the network casts. You have quite the sci-fi collection too -did you ever get into Farscape?

Haha - I love how they had the fart factor -- it was a great indication of the fun tone they had overall in the show. I never got into Farscape at the time it was on but watched it a few years ago -- watching it now it definitely feels like they were ahead of the curve for sci-fi tv feel (Star Trek during that time was fairly serious).

My favorite lil gag was Rigel's explosive pee that one episode....how could you NOT laugh???
And I loved all of Chricton's references to other sci-fi shows in the show!
